Story of Heathland pop-up at Chobham Common

FREE nature pop-up to celebrate heathland!

Warden Niall will be running a pop-up to share the remarkable story of Thames Basin Heaths past to present!

The largest National Nature Reserve in the south east of England, Chobham Common is a wonderful example of lowland heath, the most threatened UK habitat and home to some of the UK’s rarest wildlife, including birds like the Dartford Warbler, the Woodlark and a nocturnal bird steeped in folklore, the Nightjar.

FIND US: Free parking is available at Longcross Car Park, Staple Hill Road, Chobham, Surrey. What3Words: guard.helps.finishing. The gazebo pop-up can be located at What3Words: tiger.single.badge. It is a short walk from the car park along the eastern section of the Scots Pine Trail.

FREE. Suitable for all. Drop-in anytime between 10:00am and 1.30pm. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
