Free Guided Nature Walk
Join a Thames Basin Heaths Partnership warden for a stroll through the meadows and woodlands of Brookwood to hear about the trees, flowers, butterflies, bees & birds there. At the end of the 11⁄2 hour walk, free orange squash & biscuits will be available for refreshment. Colouring materials for painting pictures of butterflies will also be available. Enjoy a Summer Walk looking for butterflies on Hazeley Heath with the RSPB. Apart from the common species on the wing at this time of year we shall be looking for specialist heathland species such as Grayling, Silver-studded Blue and Silver-washed Fritillery. Family-friendly. Wear footwear suitable for uneven and possible damp conditions underfoot. Hopefully it will be hot and sunny, please come prepared for sun.
