What you’ll find there…
This new walk was looking especially attractive when we visited for the first time in May 2023. A choice of routes takes you on a lovely stroll through meadows and an ancient copse. Full of wildlife, the hedgerows and woodland are of particular interest for the populations of bats they support. There’s also a wildlife pond, nesting Skylarks and Bluebells to look forward to in spring.
There’s a 2.3km circular walk marked out and a couple of poo bins (one in the car park and one at the pedestrian entrance at Tithebarns Farm) and there’s an inviting looking pond. An acoustic fence runs along the boundary with the A3.
Note: Dogs on paths please to protect nesting Skylarks during the breeding season.
