Heath Week is coming…

Attractive poster with drawings of nightjars to advertise Heath Week.

As the school holidays approach, we have one thing on our minds here at the Thames Basin Heaths Partnership…Heath Week is coming!

If you’re wondering how to get the school holidays off to a cracking start, we’ve got you covered. We have lots of free, family-friendly activities planned and they’re taking place across the Thames Basin Heaths area of Surrey, Hampshire & Berkshire.

Discover the magic! Monday 29th July to Sunday 4th August

All events are free, so do come and enjoy quality time together outdoors, exploring nature with fun-filled activities to inspire our children to appreciate and protect our beautiful heathland. Why not embark on an adventurous treasure hunt solving nature-themed clues to win a prize! Or you can explore the beauty of butterflies on a guided tour with someone to help you identify the different species. Or get up close and personal with the heathland’s native creatures with the Amphibian & Reptile Conservation Trust.

Details of all the events can be found on our Heath Week page and you can have a taster of previous years by visiting our Heath Week Gallery.

Please do join in the fun, try something new and learn a little about why our local heathlands are so special.
